What's New for 2012

It's already February? Crap. Or "yea", perhaps. After years of working as a professional nanny, I've begun a new child care endeavor! I've started the VERY early stages of starting a small in home child care as well as a child care website for parents & nannies http://www.YourOnlineNanny.com

I'm unsure if the in home child care will be a full day child care or more of a "Mommy Morning Out" where I would care for children for a few hours in the morning/early afternoon. In the beginning I suppose I'll have to cater to the demand. And how much demand is there? Well, there are not one, but TWO in home daycares walking distance to my home (one can almost be spotted from my front door.) How's that for a smart business plan on my part? But that's why I'm leaning towards the "Mommy Morning Out" - there'd be no enrollment or application nor a monthly non-refundable fee. It would be a "pay as needed" service requiring very little notice (just call to check for availability.) We'll see...

Needed a change and hopefully this will be a great one! Change is good (isn't that what they say?) so I will welcome it with open (and slightly nervous) arms. That means I'm hugging it, right?
