You're Gonna Lose a Finger

I did this a few days ago. It is an outdoor outlet cover that is now in the kitchen. It is covering the switch to the garbage disposal. The switch (and now the cover as well) is located just beneath the ledge of the counter. Now, I'll be the first to admit it is a ridiculous place for a garbage disposal switch as anyone using the sink will scare the bejeezus out of themselves (and by "themselves" I mean Greg & me) when they accidentally turn on the disposal with their hip while doing dishes. When we first moved into this house, Greg & I joked, "What a horrible place for this switch. Once we have kids, they're gonna chop off our hands while we do dishes!" Oh, ha ha ha, it's all fun & games 'til someone loses a, well, you know. Myles has begun to wonder, "Hmm, this switch is interesting. I wonder what it does..." So, in order to keep all 10 fingers attached to our hands, I have added this lovely stylish cover to our home. So far, so good (all fingers still intact.)

Box.

Wooo, what's this, a box? Needs investigating...

...and 24 Hours After Taking His First 3 Steps

He walked across the living room

There's no stopping him now!
(Well, except that toddlers trip quite easily.)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

The week of Halloween was very eventful for us. It began with the My Gym Halloween Party where Myles wore his monkey costume & loved it!
He even wore the hood the entire time.

Then we took a little trip to the Tapia Bros Pumpkin Patch to choose our pumpkin!

Myles chose this little "cannonball" pumpkin

"No wait, I want this big one!"

"Go get that guy to help us..."

"...cause I want this one."

On the 31st, Myles & I decorated our walkway to welcome Trick-or-Treaters!

Chalk is so tasty
Then it was time for Trick-or-Treating! We dressed Myles in his monkey costume & Tupelo in her bee costume to take a little walk around the block & check out the neighborhood before heading back home to hand out candy.

"Hey Tupelo, happy hallowiener! Get it??? Hahaha!"

HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEN!!!!
