Biscuit, 31 Weeks, Gets a Visit from Papa!

Biscuit is 31 weeks - 6 more & I'll be full term! This pregnancy is flying by! Biscuit is now over 16" in length, about 3.3 lbs & heading for a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side as well (though, I can't imagine there's much to look at.)

We also got a very a nice visit from Papa who was in town moving out Uncle Charley! Myles loves his Papa very much & cannot wait for his return when Papa comes to take care of him while we are in the hospital birthing big ole Biscuit!

 Myles loves laundry day & he gets to roll all over "the big bed" while I change the sheets. He also loves to be pantsless at times. :-)

Biscuit, 30 Weeks, Meets Tiny

Biscuit is 30 weeks & had a little checkup. Strong heartbeat, measuring perfectly, all system's a go! At around 15.7" long & 3 lbs, apparently Biscuit is working on developing eyesight this week.

We made a little visit to meet Tiny, a 4 week old giraffe. Super sweet & friendly, Tiny took a bottle from me & gave out kisses to everyone.

Myles was quite entertained by Tiny & liked his cuddly nature

In other SmithAldridge news, Clayton's first photo shoot resulted in him being the 

cover-dog for Purina puppy food! Handsome boy!

And lastly, Myles tried the "big boy" swing for the first time! It made me very nervous to take my hands away from him long enough to snap this picture, but hey, ya gotta get the shot, right? ;-)

Biscuit, 29 Weeks & Getting Beachy

Biscuit is 29 weeks, the size of a butternut squash & almost 3 lbs! I'm also upping my calcium as Biscuit is busy soaking it all up converting his skeleton into bone. Wooo!

Myles took his first trip to the public library! He enjoyed pulling many books off the shelves.

We took our first trips to the beach this season - 2 trips in one week! Yea, beachy weather!

Biscuit, 28 Weeks, Goes to the Zoo & Wishes America a Happy Birthday!

Dressed for the 4th - I know it appears orange, but we would never. Definitely in RED!

Welcome to the 3rd Trimester, Biscuit! Weighing in at 2.5 lbs & almost 16" long, Biscuit has now mastered blinking & has nearly mature lungs. Whew!

We took Myles to the LA Zoo for the first time. Though much fun was had, it's difficult to get good pics...as you can see.

His favorite & final animal of the day was this gorilla who had pressed himself up against the glass,
 lay on his elbows & knees & put his head in his hands
while looking at all the children who were looking at him.

As usual, we spent 4th of July at the Williams home, grilling, eating, playing & then settling in for a panoramic view of various sets of fireworks. Myles was a champ & didn't even want headphones to help with the noise. In fact, after the first hour, he kinda lost interest in the fireworks altogether & just wanted to run around.
