A SmithAldridge Beach Day

Myles got to visit Mama's favorite place - the beach! Myles hasn't been to the beach since he was 3 weeks old, so this was an adventure for him. He loved hanging on the blanket, playing with toys & watching the ocean & other beach goers; however, he wasn't a fan of the sand on his feet or being dipped into the cold Pacific Ocean.

Myles's First "Crawley Steps"

Yesterday afternoon, outside with Mama & Tupelo, Myles took a couple "crawley steps" (he also stuck his butt in the air.) No more "alligator crawling" for him!

A Pool of Tears

So, we took Myles swimming & he didn't quite take to it the way we thought he might. Maybe next time we'll try when there are less "big kids" jumping in around him. He was ok as long as I was holding him tightly & he relaxed a bit to stretch out his legs behind him, but he was always "on guard."

Contrary to the look on his little face, he was actually pretty relaxed here - stretched out, kicking around
