Biscuit, 22 Weeks - "It's a BOY!"

Biscuit is a BOY! We're so excited! The night Greg returned from Orland, CA, we opened the envelope & we're thrilled to learn that Myles will have a baby brother. The following morning we told Myles he was going to have a baby brother & he said, "Bwuv-vah!" Though now I think Myles may think "brother" is some sort of food treat b/c when I say "You're going to get a baby brother" he responds by pointing to the kitchen cabinets & saying, "Bwuv-vah, bwuv-vah, please."

Biscuit is also kicking me constantly - enough so that Greg is feeling them often as well.  He  is on a bit of a schedule. The morning wake-up goes like this: Clayton, Greg, Biscuit, Myles, Tupelo-n-Me. When it comes to "sleeping in", Tupelo's the only one on-board.

Gonna be the Big Brother

Sat down on the walk to watch a bird on a wire

Coming to show me he fell on his knees

We went to a new restaurant called "Kickin' KAsian", a Cajun Asian Fusion Seafood place, where we not only ate snow crab legs right off the tabletop, but Myles ate his weigh in crab. G&I couldn't crack open those legs fast enough to keep up with Myles's excited requests of  "more, more, more, more!"

Aftermath

Learning to dribble (soccer-dribble, not basketball-dribble)

Bubbles!

and lastly, I organized ALL of Myles's outgrown baby boy clothes for Biscuit!

Biscuit, 20 Weeks...20, 21, Whatever It Takes

Biscuit is 20 weeks (maybe?) & halfway baked. However, my last two ultrasounds actually show me at 21 weeks with a due date of 9/25 (as opposed to 10/4)...b/c Biscuit is closer to 13oz than 11 as well as longer than a 20 week baby.

This last ultrasound also revealed Biscuit's gender! However, I don't know what that is. For those that remember, we didn't find out Myles was a boy until the "big reveal" of childbirth; however, we thought it might be fun to mix it up & find out this time. Greg was out of town during my ultrasound, so the doc wrote it down on one of the ultrasound pics & put it in an envelope so we can open it together at the time of our choosing. And nope, I haven't peeked! In fact, b/c it was bright in the office when she handed the envelope to me, I didn't even look down at it for fear I could see through the envelope. Once home, it went right into a journal waiting for Greg & hasn't been touched sense. Did I mention that when I was a teen, my Mom trusted me to wrap my own Christmas presents b/c she knew I'd never peek into the boxes before Christmas morning? I'm one of those.

Happy & Topless!

Manly Physique

Drinking the pool water...umm, whatever.

We're gonna need a bigger pool.

Myles & Clayton examine...something?

Fan dept of Home Depot. Myles LOVES fans.

Biscuit, 19 Weeks & Happy Mother's Day!

Biscuit is 19 weeks and about the size of a "large heirloom tomato." Jeez, these fruit references. Anyway, Biscuit is about 8 1/2 oz & can supposedly hear my voice. Hope Biscuit likes the sound of me telling Clayton, "No, back up! Watch where you're going!"
Music to Biscuit's ears.

My Mother's Day began with cards & a gift cert for a pregnancy massage at my favorite little spa from my boys! Then, I took the following picture of my boys & all their hair (knowing that I'd be shaving both their heads later in the day!)

Furry Headed Boys
Mouthfuls of cereal make for funny faces

Then, Greg had to put in some time at the ranch, so Myles took me out to our favorite breakfast spot for Mother's Day breakfast.

Chilaquiles & fruit, yum!

Post head shavings, handsome boys

Out for Mother's Day dinner at Loteria Grill with Uncle Charley & Aunt Mollie too!

Bellies!
Look how Aunt Mollie's baby bump (aka Baby Libby) fits right in btw my boobs & Baby Bicuit!

SmithAldridges & Aldridges (and two babies due too!)

What a great Mother's Day!

Biscuit, 18 Weeks

Biscuit is 18 weeks old, about 5 1/2 inches long and about the size of a bell pepper. This morning I felt the first "outside" kicks for the first time! Pretty incredible, even the second time around!

It was a hot week here in the San Fernando Valley, but we got through it. I will spend yet another pregnancy battling the 3rd trimester during Summer, only this time, I will have Myles to entertain as opposed to just Tupelo (who is perfectly content to avoid heat at all costs.)

Made Myles this little bison slider - he ate it up, a boy after his Daddy's heart!

Coloring

Fed this green dog some imaginary food
(I like the expression on Myles's face...I wonder if I stick out my tongue when I feed Myles too!?)

Myles & Greg take selfies of their tongues & text them to one another each day. We are all entertained by this. Myles will now stick out his tongue & immediately point to my phone & say, "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!"

That sweet face, prob. why people still ask me if he's a girl.

He loves to stop & watch ants during our walks.

Being carried. That "Save Energy for the Return Walk Home" speech never takes.

Had to whip out the little froggy pool just to cool off & let Myles burn some energy. And don't think for a second that I didn't somehow manage to get my preggo butt in there too b/c I most certainly did.
