Biscuit, 27 Weeks

Biscuit is 27 weeks, whew! Had a little checkup & that oh-so-fun glucose test, all went well (that I know of.) Biscuit has graduated to a new growth chart - no longer measured crown to rump, but rather from head to toe. More than a foot long (approx. 15") and weighing over 2 lbs, Biscuit is also developing lots of taste buds & can now taste the difference in the foods I eat.

Foot in Mouth

These are Myles's wooden animals. I arrange them like this every morning...

At some point during the day, I will walk into his room & find them like this.
The baby bear is always missing.
It's a fun game we're playing, though if there's winner, I can't tell who it is.

Do some prenatal yoga, they said.
"They" didn't have a silly baby & wiener dog, now did they?

Biscuit, 26 Weeks

Biscuit is 26 weeks & growing strong! About 1 2/3 lbs & the length of a green onion, Biscuit is developing more nerves in his ears so he can hear more & more. Apparently his testicles are also taking a 3 day trip descending into his scrotum. How exciting.

My mom was visiting this week as well. She & Myles played many games together, but I wasn't able to get any good pics. However, I was able to shoot one game...

Bubbles with GG

One of my high school BFFs, Anna, visited with her family as well. We had a nice time eating & catching up and they got to meet Myles for the first time.

Greg shows everyone pics from when he worked on "The Happening."
A neighbor gave Myles a bubble machine...as Greg put it, "Bubbles will never be the same!"

Biscuit, 25 Weeks, Welcomes GG & Celebrates Father's Day!

Biscuit is 25 weeks & starting to put on some baby fat (as am I, yes?) About the size of a rutabaga, Biscuit measures around 14" now & is growing more hair.
And whew, kicking up a storm!

GG is here for a little visit as well, yea! Here to help with baby Libby, GG is getting lots of good grandkid cuddles!

Biscuit also helped us celebrate Father's Day!

Myles's hugs are the best gift!

But gifts are good gifts too.

Biscuit, 24 Weeks & Babymooning (that's not a word.)

Biscuit is 24 weeks & beginning to "fill out" (as am I. Clearly.) His brain is growing, taste buds are developing & lungs are "branching out." He is also giving me lower back pain, though I could easily blame Myles's growth on that as well. :-)

This weekend, we took a little family weekend getaway to San Diego, a "babymoon", if you will. We had a great time relaxing and exploring!

Welcome to the World, Elizabeth "Libby" Mae Aldridge!

My brother Charley & his wife, Mollie, have welcomed their beautiful daughter to the world!
Elizabeth Mae Aldridge (aka "Libby Mae") was born on June 4th at 1:52pm. She was 7lbs 13oz & 21" long & 10 days "overdue!" Well worth the wait!

Biscuit, 23 Weeks

Biscuit is 23 weeks & doing well. Had a dr. appt - measured "perfectly" (I guess that's a Goldilocks kinda thing - not too big, not too small?), strong heartbeat, good blood pressure, etc. Biscuit now resembles a "newborn" more than a fetus, has developed his sense of movement & can now hear what I hear. So that would be a lot of dogs barking, children screaming & leaf blowers b/c I feel like that's all I hear in our neighborhood. Though, that could be my own house. ;-)

Well, that's just "eating" bubbles

It was quiet. A little too quiet. But, he was just nicely playing in his room. Nice boy.
