| Myles celebrated his 1 week birthday by cheering on the Bulldogs as they defeated Missouri! Go DAWGS! |
What a difference a week makes! Myles changes everyday – he seems to be growing right before our eyes (which, literally, he is – already having gained ½ the weight lost after birth.) Everyday he takes in more of his world. Yesterday I looked at him & he looked so different than just a few days ago. It makes it so hard to hold onto those moments when it’s peaceful & perfect & I try to memorize the feel of his skin & the smell of his head & the way he looks up at us knowing that it’s fleeting. But I also know those times will be replaced by new perfect moments of the future. Even when looking at pictures from one week ago, I think, “This just doesn’t do the moment justice.” But everyday we're so excited to see what new changes life will bring to us through Myles!

| Watchful Myles, ever the skeptic
Writing the BOB blog was a
great way to spend my pregnancy & I really enjoyed it. I do miss those
pregnancy kicks & when I look at Myles's little feet I can't believe THOSE
were making the kicks!
We will continue blogging about our
SmithAldridge adventures...and fondly remember all the BOB times! And whenever
we or others wanna call Myles "Bob", it will be smiled upon.
