Bob, 22 Weeks & Ready to Travel

(22 weeks) 

So, Bob is 22 weeks today, still turning somersaults inside my belly & growing everyday (as evidenced by the above pic.) According to “the book”, Bob is now swallowing amniotic fluid. Literally, Bob is tasting what I eat. Now when I eat, I think, “I wonder if these eggs taste good in amniotic fluid?” and “Mmm, strawberry smoothie flavored amniotic fluid. You’re welcome, Bob, you’re welcome.”

Greg & I are getting ready to visit Atlanta for 4 days - we are meeting our new nephew and having our first baby shower (hosted by Greg's Aunt Melissa, cousin Shelby & Aunt Laurie.) Although it's early in my pregnancy for a shower, it was the only way to have a shower where many of our east coast family & friends will be able to attend. We're VERY excited to see everyone & my family is so thrilled to see me pregnant in person...this seems to be a sentiment shared by many people, actually.

On a non-Bob note, have you seen Greg’s latest commercial??? Greg worked a lion job for Chase Bank (ya know, where all the ads are in black & white except the Chase card that’s blue.) It begins with a mom & daughter at the zoo where they see the lion appear in an enclosure & the daughter thinks when her mom takes a picture, the lion will appear in the bank (just as her checks do.) Then it cuts to the bank, where a lion is standing in line. Just as it cuts to the lion, you can see Greg “run” away. They shot that commercial in a real Chase bank in downtown LA too! That’s right, Greg walked a lion into a bank. Funny. Greg & Felix – quite the acting duo!
