Rainy Day

It's been raining for 3 days. Along with being entertained by stir-crazy dogs, lots of Legos, coloring & any "indoor soccer" game I can think of, I made Myles this felt tree to decorate. Thanks, Pinterest!

As well as this snowman…

Ollie's 1st Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving this year! Uncle Charley, Aunt Mollie, Libby & Charley's visiting friends, Byron & Krista joined us. It was tricky getting ready with a nursing newborn and a 2 year old hanging on me, but it was worth it. We had such a delicious time!

Myles spent a good chunk of time handing everyone their phones

(No phones at dinner! There would be 6 here, but I used mine to take this pic.)

Greg's crazy delicious trifle - he made caramel (& later, caramel cream) from scratch, yum!

Myles approves of dessert!

We welcome furry family members as well. This is Patrick, one of Aunt Mollie & Uncle Charley's dogs.

Ollie's 1st Hike, Myles Gets Artsy

Ollie had his first hike (albeit a mere "urban hike.") We took the boys to the old zoo trail in Griffith Park. Myles had a blast & even asked to go on another hike the next day. Probably b/c of his badass new shoes - cute red Pumas that were chosen with his Dad (yup, Greg took him shoe shopping.)

Our hiking morning ended with lunch at Umami Burger in Burbank.

Hiking AND Umami Burger - a very Greg-centric day.

That's an experienced move right there. That's not for the first-time baby holder.

Myles has been enjoying artsy stuff like Play-Doh & crafts & crayons & colored pencils & well, you get the picture...

fancy pencils from Uncle Charley!

Spent A LOT of time sorting the pencils before we actually colored & drew

Ollie Face

Ollie smiles at us all the time now. It is quite humorous and adorable and it makes me laugh. He only finds the camera to be a distraction, so if you want to capture the good smiles, ya gotta hold the camera off to the side.

...and then there's this face too. I know it SHOULDN'T make me laugh, but it does too.

Every morning that Greg has time for breakfast, he shares some with Myles

& I think it's the cutest thing.

Well, that's about as goofy as it can get

We had our first "Steelers Sunday" of the season (meaning the game was on at the Leonhardt's & we visited them.) It was also an "Isabel Turns 3 Years Old" celebration!
