Myles' First Day of Preschool

It's that time again. Myles has switched preschools - he now attends the CEC Preschool in Blairsville, GA. He kept telling us, "I'm so excited to go to a new school and make new friends!" Such a sweet guy.

I had a wonderful birthday weekend! It began with a spa morning at the Equani Spa followed by lunch & yummy desserts with my boys. It ended with a pontoon boat rental and a day on the Lake Nottely with family & friends!

Mr. Guy let Myles drive, for reals. No one seemed to care that a 3 year old was at the wheel.

 We anchored at this swimming spot & spent the rest of our time 

rock jumping into the lake.

A rope swing, a rocky ledge & Aunt Holly's good form.

Sleepy swimmers…half of the kids slept the entire way back.

 And Myles drove us all the way back to land.

Cramming In End-of-the-Summer Fun!

 And visiting the Meeks Park Splash Pad.

As well as the Hayesville "beach" 

(which isn't a beach at all, but rather a sandy area on a lake made to "feel" like the beach.)

Myles also sustained his first sous chef injury while making scrambled eggs with Daddy. 

He was very brave.

Ollie & Clayton Celebrate!

This kid turned 100 Weeks Old! Now, I know that's not a "real" birthday per se, 

but whatever, I made cupcakes.

The morning began with mango waffles topped with honeyed mango & whipped cream!

August 4th also marked Clayton's 3rd birthday, so he celebrated with us! Though, he didn't score any mango waffles or dessert, he DID get a new bone.
